Erkki Rissanen has collected over one million bottles from the streets of Tornio in 59 years, and through his selfless cleaning work, he brings out the best in people. Erkki begins his twelve-hour cleaning route at midnight, every day of the year. Between the different seasons of Erkki’s hard work, the film is punctuated by the visual transformation journey of Erkki’s bottles and cans for new life. Erkki is the recycle king.
