Manhunters

Set on Finland’s turbulent eastern border in 1919, the film tells a true story of violence against the Skolt Sámi, culminating in the brutal murder of reindeer herder Kosma Moshnikov. Through the journey of Samuli Arrela, a young Skolt searching for his roots, the film explores inherited trauma, silence, and shame—and how a community can begin to confront and process its past together.
