The products may be books, radio or television programmes, newspapers or periodicals. The Award can be conferred on an individual author, journalist, producer or a team. The Award can also be granted to a person for a distinguished life's work in public information. Publishers, organisations, etc. may put forward their proposals for recipients.
Seamstress is a historical documentary film of Martta Koskinen, a seamstress born in 1896 who was executed in the year 1943. She was the last woman executed by the state. Director and writer Ville Suhonen wants to bring Finnish history forward and uses the fate of one person as an example.
