School of Hope is the winner in Munich

School of Hope, which is produced by Illume and directed by Mohamed El Aboudi, has been awarded with the SOS-Children Villages prize in DOK.fest Munich film festival on 22nd of April. It is awarded to films that make the perspective of children and young people visible in a remarkable way. The prize will be given next week, on the starting day of the DOK.fest Munich film festival on 5th of May. Additionally, School of Hope is competing in the DOK.horizonte series. The prize is awarded to films that tell stories about countries with unstable structures in transition. The film can also be voted as a nominee for the audience award.
