Finnish Film Foundation production support for Fatei and the Sea

Documentary film Fatei and the Sea, a co-production between Illume and Russian Proline Film will receive Finnish Film Foundation production support for 30 000€. The film will be directed by Alina Rudnitskaya.
Rikord Island, off the south-east coast of Russia. Fatei struggles with the elements as well as the local authorities. In his work for the common good, he finds himself on the wrong side of the law. When a man fights for his dream, he risks more than his own life. He puts his family at risk, too.
