Filmmaker Magazine selected Life of Ivanna as one of their must-see documentary film at DOC NYC

Filmmaker Magazine named Life of Ivanna as one of their festival favourites, among more than 200 films at DOC NYC. The documentary was premiered in the US in November. The festival is between 10.-18.11.2021.

The main producer of the film is Vlad Ketkovich from Russian Ethnofund film company. Co-producers are Mette Cheng Munthe-Kaas from Norvegian Ten Thousand Images, Marianna Kaat from Estonian Baltic Film Production and Pertti Veijalainen from Illume Ltd. 

Life of Ivanna is a documentary film about Ivanna, a young Nenets woman and mother of five children living in North Siberia, who decides to take her life in her own hands, emancipating from an abusive relationship and abandoning the traditional nomadic way of life in the tundra to emigrate to the city.
