Perttu Inkilä is a cinematographer from Helsinki who has graduated from Metropolia University of Applied Sciences. During his career he has directed and filmed about 30 music videos and 10 short films. In 2019, he filmed a documentary film 1,5 Meters Space which received a theatrical release and was shown before another documentary film at the festival. Filmmaking for Inkilä is about inspiring, observing and modifying light. As a cinematographer, he is not so much inspired in storytelling that only aims to transmit information but he is captivated by the subconscious tuning that arouses in us when we watch films.
